When you use Unbound, we collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account data: Email address and subscription plan information.
• Usage data: Number of questions asked, timestamps, and model tier used. We do NOT store the content of your questions or answers.
• Technical data: Hardware ID for license validation, app version, and crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely for:

• Providing and maintaining the Unbound overlay service.
• Managing your subscription and processing payments.
• Improving model accuracy and response speed (using anonymized usage metrics only).
• Preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized license sharing.

3. Data We Do NOT Store

Unbound is designed with privacy in mind. We do not store, log, or retain the content of questions you capture or answers you receive. All question-to-answer processing happens in real-time and is not persisted on our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only exceptions are payment processors (for billing) and hosting providers (for server infrastructure), who are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. License keys and account credentials are hashed and salted.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us via Discord or email. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via our Discord server. Continued use of Unbound after changes constitutes acceptance.
