The story behind Unbound

One developer. One mission. Zero compromises.

Arab_dev

Founder, Sole Developer & Creator of Unbound

Unbound was built entirely by Arab_dev, an 18-year-old high school student and hobbyist developer with deep expertise in reverse engineering, AI tool production, and high-level C++ and Windows API pentesting.

What started as a personal project to solve a simple problem — getting through exams with confidence — evolved into a full-scale AI overlay platform powered by a proprietary reasoning engine. Every line of code, from the C++ desktop client to the webview2-based overlay UI to the backend model inference pipeline, was written by one person.

Arab_dev's background in reverse engineering gave Unbound its edge: the overlay was designed from day one to be undetectable by proctoring software, understanding exactly how these systems monitor screens, processes, and network traffic. His expertise in the Windows API enables the overlay to render at the OS level — invisible to screen capture, process enumeration, and window detection.

Today, Unbound serves over 120,000 students worldwide, powered by the X1.6 Pro Thinking model — a from-scratch reasoning architecture trained on millions of solved academic problems. And it all started with one teenager who refused to be outperformed by a test.

Reverse Engineering

Expert-level analysis and disassembly of software systems, enabling deep understanding of proctoring and anti-cheat mechanisms.

AI Tool Production

End-to-end design and deployment of AI systems — from model architecture to inference optimization to production overlay UI.

Windows API Pentesting

High-level security testing and exploitation of Windows APIs, giving Unbound its stealth overlay capabilities at the OS level.

Built by one. Trusted by many.

Every feature, every line of infrastructure, every model weight — all from a single developer who refused to accept limitations.
